MSFS2020 - New FSUIPC7 detecting Flights
« on: August 26, 2020, 11:08:56 AM »
Hi All,

I am pleased to announce that with the new FSUIPC7 released the SIMACARS is getting connected. It's recognizing the loaded airports and planes.
That is a great news. I am yet to test anything else. I am about to make a charter flight to see what happens.

Yes, did a short flight. Worked well. The essential parameters were logged alright.

NOTE : Once the flight is loaded when FSUIPC7 open, the micro stutter is extremely visible. FSUIPC7 needs definitely bug fixes.

That screen shows your landing speed as 71 knots and you were flying an A320?  So you stalled on landing then or is that speed incorrect?

Also, the word TAXI is red.  Was it green at any point (meaning did it properly detect you turning the taxi light on and off)?

Yes, I stalled, got to a really slow speed at touchdown, this I can remember. For lights, I have not yet tested extensively. But, at current FSUIPC7 state, it's almost unusable because of induced stutter. The is a deal breaker.

Okay, good to know about the stutter, but would you mind testing the lights when you get a chance?  It's a crucial piece of information -- if it isn't detecting the taxi light being turned on in FS2020, it means mapping for that light would need to be added to SIM ACARS.

I've installed and run FSUIPC7 (standalone) with MSFS2020 running, however SIMACARS doesnt detect the sim.

I followed the instructions for FSUIPC7.

Any tips, tricks?

From my experience all you need to do is run the FSUIPC7 as admin and keep it running at background. Then just run MSFS2020 and load ACARS. It detected in my case.
