Problem editing pilots
« on: July 12, 2019, 03:16:49 PM »
Hi all,

when I try to edit a pilot in administration, e.g. changing the hub he´s at, clicking on "submit" results in a file download with the file having no extension and a number as name. I can open the file with a text editor, the content ist the following:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<html><head>
<title>503 Service Unavailable</title>
</head><body>
<h1>Service Unavailable</h1>
<p>The server is temporarily unable to service your
request due to maintenance downtime or capacity
problems. Please try again later.</p>
</body></html>

Fleet, Hubs, Routes, everything else can be edited, except the pilots. Changing the profile data outside administration (in the Pilot Actions) is also working. Using VAM 2.6 on version 5.6.42 mySQL database.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Best,
Marc

Hello,

This is an internal server error, I suggest you to contact your service provider to talk about the error, also check the program requirements with your hosting provider.

Maybe I can help you, please share your server error log.

Greetings.

Hello,
As far as the VAM is good, it has some glitches.
i suggest if yu have access to your database to do it there.
table is gvausers.

this query will show the data you need.

SELECT * FROM `gvausers`

check which hub id is your given, in general it is 6 and 8 and up

SELECT * FROM `hubs` WHERE 1

and change the pilot Hub ID and any information you want to do.

if you are encountering some issue, let me know, i will help you out.

Regards
