Hey there,
is it a free hostage ?

Support for VAM 2.4 - 2.6 / Re: Query error when register new pilot
« on: July 22, 2019, 06:14:58 AM »
What i can suggest you is a total reinstallation.ask your database supplier to create a new database in another cluster.do a reinstallation and see what happens.
that's the last thing i can suggest, because from VAM creator, you will be waiting a long time since he is busy with othes things, which is normal....

Hello,
try to add the pilots directly in the database, to see what happens.

Hello
Are you registering your pilots through the database?
where is the database located? is it free hosting? paid one? please provide more details.
also, i will suggest you to go to the Users table
GVAUSERS to see if all pilots are well registered, and there is no space in one of the fields etc..
In case it is all registering of pilots, i will suggest to truncate the table and restart anew.

Hello,
As far as the VAM is good, it has some glitches.
i suggest if yu have access to your database to do it there.
table is gvausers.

this query will show the data you need.

SELECT * FROM `gvausers`

check which hub id is your given, in general it is 6 and 8 and up

SELECT * FROM `hubs` WHERE 1

and change the pilot Hub ID and any information you want to do.

if you are encountering some issue, let me know, i will help you out.

Regards

Hello All,

i know this thread is old.

but, google does not make anyone pays for its API if the request to your page does not exceed 100 000 request per months.

so i guess you can register to have the API.

unless you are unlucky and some some hacker that has nothing to do but beat rocks everyday request your page every seconds…

OH My.
i didn't read the thread age, i just got into it like a bull ;D
good to know that you have doen some inroad with DB's.
VAM is good project, but some glitches are still lingering around. but for a project that has been designed by a single man, i must say respect.
good luck in your endeavors!!

Hello can you explain how edit the airports via using php my admin I have same issues I need to update some airport ıcao code.

Hello,

First in PhpMyAdmin ( i guess you have access to your database of your virtual airlines installation.
you need to know the organization of the airports table.

If you need to update a table, i suggest you export the airports table, and the airport frequencies table to an SQL file.
basically a table has columns and fields, columns stores the data in it, and the fields is where the data resides.

In your PhPmyadmin, there is an option to export tables.

then, you need to locate 3 things in the (airport) table: the ID( which  appears to be the primary key), the column ident ( where the ICAO code is)

In the sql part of your PHPmyadmin, execute the below query

SELECT * FROM `airports` WHERE ident ='put here the ICAO code you want to update'

once you have the result, you see data for the airport.

you can then, update the data in entering anything you want with this query.

In order not to do mistakes, i suggest you to update each field at time.

the airports table has the below columns.

ID, ident,name, latitude_deg, longitude_deg, elevation_ft, continent,iso_country,municipality,scheduled_services,gps_code,iata_code,local_code,home_link,wikipedia_link,keywords

update airports set (the name of the field you want to update) where ( the field that will identify the airport, and not another one)

basically speaking if you want to update the airport of Johannesburg in south africa which change from FAJS to FAOR, all you need is to locate the old airport

select * from airports where ident='FAJS'

You get

2792 FAJS large_airport, Jan smuts International Airport, -26.1392002106, 28.2460002899, 5558, AF, ZA, ZA-GT, Johannesburg, yes FFAJS JNB http://www.acsa.co.za/home.asp?pid=228http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OR_Tambo_Internationa... Jan smuts International,Airport
Johannesburg I

if you want to update the ICAO with the new code which is FAOR, or and any other field:

type the below query.

update airports set ident='FAOR' where iata_code='JNB'
update airports set name='OR Tambo International Airport' where iata_code='JNB'
update airports set gps_code='FAOR' where iata_code='JNB'

do like that to update any field you want, by making sure you relate to the record by a single information, here iata_code='JNB'

you done  :D

Hello,

You have to delete it from the database, if you have access.

be sure to be on the database table

Example. DELETE FROM airports  WHERE ident ='your airport ident';

and you're done

« on: March 09, 2019, 12:09:47 AM »
I have a big issue with vam. My money moduel not work, everyone can jump for free and nobody receive money after a flight. help me pls
Dude,
have you setup automatic validation? you need to validate by yourself, the system has a bug.
Now for your pilots that jump for free : You have to login, enter the admin part, go to Va Parameters. modify the price for all the items that effect your airline.
Allowed Pilots

my config
IVAO
VATSIM
VA ICAO
VA Name
Cost Jump Type 1 : 100 ( Ivory: my currency)
Cost Jump Type 2: 250
Cost Jump Type 3 : 500
Plane Status Hangar 75
Landing Crash 950
etc...

do as you like by moving these counters, and you will see your airline will move up and pilot restrained a bit..
Cheers ears
